This year is showing good signs for a road to success. Students are putting in the effort and stepping up as leaders.
“Our senior leadership is outstanding,” Chad Harvey, boys’ basketball coach, said.
Students are working hard and working on team chemistry. Even though the girls’ basketball team will be small this year, they hope to have a great season.
“Right now we are learning each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Everyone has picked up everything quickly and it’s making things easy. ”
Students are really focusing on putting in the time and work to achieve a winning season. Hard work and dedicated athletes is the only way to succeed.
“The guys are really buying in and come into practice to work,” Harvey said.
The first LHS basketball game is Nov. 30 in Pittsburg, the next day is the first wrestling meet in Fort Scott. Make the drive and support your fellow Wildcats, and good luck to all LHS athletics this winter, have a great season.
